Job description
We are currently partnering with a leading insurance organisation in their search for an experienced Functional Lead to support a large-scale Claims Transformation programme. This role will follow a hybrid working model, with 2–3 days per week in the office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, refining, and maintaining the end-to-end Claims Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring it is translated into clear, actionable, and deliverable artefacts.
Essential experience and qualifications:
- Strong claims domain expertise, with an end-to-end understanding of claims processes, controls, management information (MI), and the regulatory landscape
- Proven ability to translate TOM and process designs into clear functional requirements and configuration-first solutions
- Experience operating within structured governance frameworks, including Design Authority and architectural standards
- Deep functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including hands-on configuration for enterprise-level processes
- Strong stakeholder management and governance experience
Desirable experience:
- Experience working with shared platforms or multi-entity transformation programmes
- Understanding of non-functional requirements in regulated environments (e.g. Security, auditability, performance, resilience)
- Exposure to data migration, cutover, and parallel run planning within platform replacement programmes
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Functional Lead to play a key role in delivering a large-scale transformation programme.
