Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer

Level: 2+ years PQE

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

Oculus Legal Group is currently partnering with a reputable Top 100 law firm based in Cambridge looking for a Residential Property Solicitor. This firm is known for its steady growth and commitment to clients, offering a friendly and supportive work environment that values teamwork and professional development.

About the Role:

This role is suitable for a skilled Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with 2+ years PQE. You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, from sales and purchases to transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and lease extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including complex cases.
• Advising on freehold and leasehold purchases, sales, and lease extensions.
• Assisting with the development of junior members of the team, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
• Actively participate in business development opportunities growing the residential property offering.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documents, title deeds, and Land Registry documents.
• Providing exceptional client care and developing strong client relationships.

Candidate:

• At least 2 years of PQE in residential property law.
• Excellent client care skills and an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, supportive environment.
