Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, multi-office law firm with a strong reputation in property and dispute resolution work. The firm has experienced consistent growth and offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment with clear progression opportunities.

Due to internal movement, the team is looking to appoint a Property Litigation Solicitor to support a busy and expanding caseload. This role would suit someone keen to develop their expertise while working alongside experienced practitioners on high-quality matters.


The Role:

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property disputes, working with both commercial and individual clients. The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of litigation and a broad range of high-quality work.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of property litigation matters with a commercial, solutions-focused approach
  • Managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution, including trial where required
  • Handling matters such as:
  • Landlord & tenant disputes (including 1954 Act claims)
  • Breach of contract
  • Boundary and neighbour disputes
  • Co-ownership disputes
  • Development-related disputes
  • Engaging in ADR, including mediation and settlement negotiations
  • Conducting risk analysis and developing strategic approaches to disputes
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, pragmatic communication
  • Collaborating with colleagues across other practice areas where required


Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor with 0-4 years’ PQE in property litigation
  • Experience gained within a reputable regional, West End, or City firm
  • Strong understanding of landlord & tenant work and general property disputes
  • Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy caseload
  • A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to a growing team
