Transport and Asset Finance Solicitor

We are working with an international law firm based in London for an Associate to join their Asset Finance team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a leading Transport & Asset Finance practice, focusing primarily on rail and rolling stock finance within a highly ranked team. They will advise clients on asset financing transactions across the rail and aviation sectors, run smaller transactions independently, and support larger deals through drafting, reviewing documentation, and identifying key legal and commercial risks.

They will also manage client relationships and project delivery, contribute to legal research, and support the supervision of junior team members.

Essential Criteria:

• 2+ years’ PQE;
• Strong asset finance law experience;
• Rail sector experience desirable;
• Commercial awareness;
• Technically excellent;
• Ability to supervise and mentor juniors;
• Willingness to engage in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team;
• Ability to work in fast environment;
• Strong communication skills.
