£85,000 – £110,000 per annum + company car / car allowance

Our client, a leading international civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to join their Technical Services team based in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business operating across complex sectors including transportation, energy, tunnelling, building, and civil & structural engineering.

The successful candidate will provide engineering support across nominated sectors and projects, supporting both work winning and project delivery teams. You will lead the engineering function within your region/sector, review pre-qualifications and tenders for technical risk, and ensure risks are clearly communicated and appropriately mitigated.

You will also play a key role in developing innovative alternative designs, engineering methods, and value engineering solutions, helping to drive technical excellence across bids and live projects. In delivery, you will ensure projects meet all contracted engineering requirements to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and technical performance.

To be considered, you must be a Chartered Engineer or hold a similar level of professional accreditation acceptable to the Head of Technical Services. You will also need substantial construction and design experience, along with the ability to deputise for the Project Manager when required.
