Regulatory Lawyer – c.5 Years’ PQE (Advisory Focus)

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Lawyer (around 5 years’ PQE) to join a leading international financial institution’s Legal function. This is a non‑transactional, purely advisory role supporting the organisation’s UK and global businesses on a wide range of financial regulatory matters.

Working as part of a high‑performing in‑house team, you will provide clear, practical, risk‑aware advice on regulatory developments, supervisory expectations, and conduct issues. You will advise senior stakeholders across business lines, helping them navigate complex regulatory frameworks and implement compliant policies, processes, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver strategic and day‑to‑day advice on UK and EU regulatory requirements, including FCA and PRA rules.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments and translate these into actionable guidance.
• Support internal governance, policy drafting, and regulatory change initiatives.
• Partner closely with business, compliance, and risk teams to promote strong regulatory outcomes.

About You:

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 5 years’ PQE gained in private practice or in‑house.
• Strong technical understanding of financial services regulation and an ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and operating in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, solutions‑focused, and commercially aware.
