A leading global strategy consultancy is seeking a high-calibre Manager to join its Strategy & Transactions practice in the UK.


The firm advises senior executives and investors on their most critical strategic decisions, operating at the intersection of strategy, transactions and transformation across complex, capital-intensive industries.


The Role

As a Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-impact engagements spanning strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation across the Energy, Utilities & Resources sector.

You will take ownership of workstreams and overall project delivery, working directly with senior clients while managing and developing junior team members. The role offers significant responsibility, steep learning curves and direct exposure to C-suite decision-making in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation projects
  • Structuring complex problems and driving rigorous, hypothesis-led analysis
  • Managing and developing teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes under tight timelines
  • Synthesising insights into clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Engaging directly with clients, building trusted relationships and influencing decision-making
  • Contributing to business development through thought leadership and client impact


Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, with exposure to transactions and/or commercial due diligence
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-impact work in Energy, Utilities & Resources or closely related sectors
  • Outstanding academic track record (minimum 2:1 or equivalent from a leading university; STEM or Economics preferred)
  • Exceptional analytical capability and structured problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at senior levels
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity and a strong drive for impact
