A leading Silver Circle firm is seeking to hire a talented Corporate Private Equity Senior Associate into its London team as part of strategic growth within its highly respected corporate practice.
You will join a top‑tier platform known for:
- Advising major financial sponsors, institutional investors and corporates on sophisticated, high‑value transactions
- Acting on complex cross‑border acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and restructurings, often involving multiple jurisdictions
- Deep expertise across both private equity and infrastructure‑driven M&A, supporting investors active in energy, digital assets, transport and other strategic sectors
- Providing commercially focused, solutions‑driven advice directly to deal teams and senior stakeholders
- Seamless collaboration with colleagues across Corporate, Finance, Funds, Tax and sector groups on premium mandates
- Offering associates early responsibility, direct client exposure, and opportunities for international work
This is a team operating at the top end of the private capital and corporate M&A market, handling transactions where judgement, strategic insight, and commerciality are essential.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of high‑value corporate and private equity matters, including:
- Buyouts, minority and growth capital investments, bolt‑ons and portfolio company work
- Cross‑border M&A, joint ventures and complex multi‑jurisdictional structuring
- Advising major private capital investors on acquisitions, exits and strategic partnerships
- Corporate governance and ongoing advisory support for portfolio leadership teams
- Business development, client relationship engagement and helping shape the future of the practice
About You
The team is open to outstanding candidates from diverse top‑tier backgrounds, including:
- UK‑qualified lawyers with 4–8 PQE, OR
- Australian and New Zealand lawyers with 6–10 PQE, taking into account the typical two‑year PQE discount applied on London moves from the region
- Experience gained from a well‑regarded corporate, private equity, or M&A practice
- Excellent drafting, analytical and client‑facing skills
- Commercial, proactive, and comfortable managing complex workstreams
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced international environment
