Global Industrials Long/Short Analyst

Location: London

Firm Type: Single Manager Hedge Fund (Start-Up)

Overview

Start-up hedge fund led by a PM with a strong track record from leading multi-manager platforms. High-conviction, fundamentally driven L/S strategy with a market-neutral bias and flexibility to run low net.

Role

• Generate long/short ideas across Global Industrials - A&D, Homebuilders, Transport & Logistics, U.S. Railroads.
• Build financial models and conduct deep fundamental research.
• Identify cyclical inflections (upturns and downturns)
• Work closely with the PM on sizing and timing of positions.

Profile

• 5+ years’ experience, buy-side L/S equities (essential)
• Strong track record of idea generation and alpha contribution
• Solid Industrials sector knowledge
• Independent thinker with high conviction
