Learning and Development Consultant – Sales Enablement

Location: London

Reports to: Regional L&D Manager

Type: Full Time / Permanent

Flexibility: 2 days WFH

About the Role

As an L&D Sales Enablement Consultant, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programs that empower our sales teams to perform at their best. This role spans sales onboarding, sales enablement, and advanced skills development ensuring consultants at every stage of their journey have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, aligning learning initiatives to commercial goals and driving measurable performance impact across the region.


Core Responsibilities:


Sales Enablement & New Starter Development

  • Deliver tailored training and development to recruitment consultants throughout their journey in the business.
  • Facilitate personalized learning pathways, group coaching, and 1:1 coaching sessions.
  • Support all aspects of new starter development in a broad and flexible way, ensuring coverage across the full sales enablement lifecycle.
  • Create clear learning pathways covering culture, systems, process excellence, and foundational sales behaviours.

Sales Enablement Program Design

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify capability gaps and design targeted enablement solutions.
  • Build and maintain toolkits, playbooks, and digital learning resources that support consultants across the full sales cycle.
  • Implement best practices for prospecting, client engagement, negotiation, and closing.

Advanced Sales Training

  • Deliver training for experienced consultants, focusing on consultative selling, strategic account management, and market positioning.
  • Facilitate workshops and advanced coaching sessions to enhance performance and support revenue growth.


Performance Measurement

  • Track and analyse programme effectiveness using KPIs, performance data, and feedback loops.
  • Continuously refine content based on insights, market trends, and evolving business needs.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and HR to ensure alignment between enablement initiatives and business strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on sales capability development and learning strategy.


Skills & Experience

  • Must have experience as a 360 recruiter.
  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and/or recruitment industry (or similar consultative sales models).
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills across classroom, virtual, and 1:1 settings.
  • Ability to design blended learning solutions (workshops, virtual, e-learning).
  • Data-driven mindset with experience evaluating learning impact.
