Competition, 2-4 PQE, London

I am working on a new 2-4 PQE Competition associate role with my international City firm client. You will work on high-quality EU and UK Competition law matters within a supportive, growing team. You will gain hands-on experience, real responsibility and see clear opportunities for progression.

You will advise on a broad range of Competition law issues, including:

• Merger control and foreign investment
• Competition investigations and enforcement
• Horizontal/vertical agreements and unilateral conduct
• Competition disputes, including damages litigation
• Compliance, market studies, and sector inquiries
• Cross-border and cross-team collaboration.

You will also contribute to business development and help to build strong client relationships.

About you

Essential:

• E&W qualified solicitor (or EU equivalent), 2–4 years’ PQE
• Experience in EU and UK Competition law
• Strong analytical, communication and commercial skills
• Client-facing confidence and commitment to development
• Strong academics and matter management skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in merger control, foreign investment, or enforcement
• Sector exposure (e.g. Tech, life sciences, financial services, media)
