This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering and architectural leadership. You’ll guide delivery, and embed performance, resilience, and scalability into everything we build.

What You’ll Do

• Own the solution architecture for a large-scale, distributed, event-driven platform
• Design systems using Kafka, SQL, and cloud-native patterns (AWS / GCP)
• Lead technical strategy, standards, and key architectural decisions
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to turn vision into reality
• Mentor teams and influence build vs buy, performance, and scalability choices

What You’ll Bring

• Experience architecting high-volume, distributed systems
• Strong background in event-driven architecture
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript, plus databases/SQL
• A balance of big-picture thinking and practical technical leadership
• Exposure to platform modernisation, rebuilds, or migrations
• Curiosity or experience with AI-driven solutions
