Job description
Associate Director / Research Director – Global Luxury Automotive Client
At MM-Eye, we’ve spent over 15 years partnering with one of the world’s leading luxury automotive brands, delivering global research that shapes brand and comms strategy, product innovation and customer experience.
We’re now looking for an exceptional person to help lead and shape the future of this relationship.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership pathway on a flagship global account, working closely with experienced Directors and joining the management team of a respected independent insight agency.
About MM-Eye
We’re a 20-person independent research agency delivering qualitative and quantitative insight programmes around the world.
Our work spans the full research journey from new product development and unmet needs through to brand, communications and customer experience.
We are also proud to be:
• an employee-owned business
• a certified B Corp
Our culture is collaborative, curious and pragmatic. Senior researchers stay close to the thinking and the work and everyone contributes to delivering impactful insight.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a central role in leading a long-standing global luxury automotive client relationship, working across markets worldwide on both qualitative and quantitative research programmes.
The role combines strategic client partnership, hands-on research leadership and global fieldwork exposure.
You’ll also join the agency management team, contributing to the direction and growth of the business.
For the right person, the role offers a clear pathway towards senior leadership within the agency.
We’d Like To Hear From People Who…
- Have significant experience in market research or insight consultancy
- Have conducted research with high net worth and affluent consumers internationally and understand the drivers of luxury
- Have a track record of building and sustaining long-term client relationships, earning the right to be a Trusted Partner
- Are comfortable leading global qualitative and quantitative research programmes
- Have experience mentoring and guiding research teams, and working alongside project management and data teams
- Prefer being hands-on rather than purely managerial
Interest in luxury automotive and global mobility trends would be a strong advantage.
Travel
The role includes international travel for fieldwork (typically 2–3 trips per year, each of up to two weeks duration)

• Stay close to the research and insight creation
• Join the management team of an independent agency

• CV and short message expressing the reason for your interest in the role
• First interview with Board (in person, location tbc)

• Meeting with clients and prospective colleagues
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: market rate, subject to experience
- Full time/5 days a week
- 23 days annual leave (plus statutory bank holidays), plus Birthday (1 day) and Christmas (3 days) (annual leave rising a day a year over the first 5 years)
