Ecommerce Manager

CRU Kafe is looking for a Ecommerce Manager

Job description

About CRU Kafe

CRU Kafe is a B-Corp certified, Fairtrade, organic coffee brand on a mission to prove that great coffee doesn't have to cost the planet. We make premium Nespresso-compatible pods and whole beans, sourced with full supply chain transparency. We sell direct-to-consumer via Shopify and through key retail partners.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Manager to own our DTC channel end-to-end. This is a commercially focused role for someone who's equally comfortable pulling Shopify data at 9am and briefing a CRO test by noon. You'll sit at the intersection of trading, retention, and digital experience, and you'll have a direct impact on revenue. We're open to this being a full-time hire or a freelance engagement. What matters most is finding the right person.

Trading & Revenue

  • Own weekly and monthly trading performance against targets
  • Manage the promotional calendar, including campaign go-lives, discount mechanics, and bundle strategy
  • Monitor conversion, AOV, and repeat purchase rates and act on what you find

Shopify & Site

  • Day-to-day management of the Shopify store: PDPs, collections, homepage merchandising, and UX improvements
  • Identify and implement CRO opportunities using data and A/B testing
  • Manage third-party apps and integrations (reviews, upsell, subscriptions)

Retention & Email

  • Work closely with the team managing Klaviyo: briefing, QA, and performance analysis across welcome, post-purchase, and win-back sequences
  • Feed insights into segmentation and lifecycle strategy

Paid & Acquisition

  • Collaborate with the Meta ads setup briefing creative, reviewing ROAS, feeding learnings back into the wider team

Reporting

  • Produce a clear weekly trading dashboard and monthly ecommerce review
  • Be the team's go-to for Shopify data — customer cohorts, product performance, subscription metrics

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years in an ecommerce or digital trading role, ideally within food, drink, FMCG, or a DTC brand
  • Shopify confidence is non-negotiable
  • Working knowledge of Klaviyo (or a comparable ESP)
  • Experience with Skio or a comparable subscription platform (ReCharge, Stay AI)
  • Comfortable with data: Shopify analytics, GA4, and basic Excel/Sheets modelling
  • Experience with Meta ads at a hands-on level
  • Strong commercial instinct
  • Self-starter with an ability to operate without a lot of resource around you

Nice to have

  • Experience at a DTC coffee, drinks, or wellness brand
  • Familiarity with subscription cohort analysis and churn modelling
  • Experience at a small or scaling brand where you've had to do more with less
