About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts across pharmacy groups, wholesalers, supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s) and discounters. The role combines relationship management, commercial strategy, and hands‑on execution to drive distribution, sales, and long‑term business success.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with existing and new business partners.
• Drive new distribution opportunities to deliver sales and profit growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance, productivity, and commercial performance.
• Lead regular business review meetings with customers (UK travel required).
• Work closely with senior management to support wider business growth initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage customer service projects and commercial activities.
• Ensure budgets and commercial targets are achieved.
• Identify NPD opportunities and effectively communicate own‑label NPI.
• Manage forecasting and EPOS sales analysis.
• Apply MHRA artwork procedures accurately.
• Upload product and commercial information via customer portals.
• Create and deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
Skills & Experience Required
• 2–3 years’ experience in Account Management, or procurement within Consumer Healthcare, Pharma, NutriPharma, or Veterinary sectors.
• Strong commercial understanding of OTC, GSL, P, and POM categories.
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment.
• Proven success selling into pharmacy groups, wholesalers, or major retailers.
• Customer‑focused approach with excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical capability, including forecasting and EPOS data interpretation.
• Highly organised with strong communication and project management skills.
