Job description

Huishan Zhang, the internationally acclaimed luxury fashion house renowned for its distinctive fusion of Eastern heritage and Western design, is pleased to appoint a Wholesale Manager at its London headquarters.

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Wholesale Manager to drive international growth for a luxury fashion house, with a focus on new business development across under-tapped and existing key markets. This is a strategic role for someone with a proven track record of building wholesale partnerships and delivering profitable revenue growth within the luxury fashion sector.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you will shape the wholesale strategy, manage a small team, and ensure all activity is aligned with the brand's positioning and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing new accounts across international markets that align with the brand's profile
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and key contacts across existing accounts
  • Negotiating orders, terms, pop-ups and shop-in-shops
  • Preparing budgets, seasonal analysis and territory planning
  • Managing sell-through communications, re-orders and stock swaps
  • Collaborating with the Communications team on marketing and brand awareness opportunities with accounts
  • Providing feedback to inform range planning
  • Leading and developing the wholesale team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Established network of contacts within international luxury fashion retail at management level
  • Demonstrably entrepreneurial, with a history of opening new business and growing revenue
  • Commercially confident, with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Customer-centric with a deep understanding of client needs, product preferences and market demographics
  • Highly organised, tenacious and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable travelling internationally and operating across multiple time zones
