MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading FMCG business on the search for a Warehouse General Manager. This is a perm role based in Newcastle Under Lyme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of food and FMCG products.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure proper handling and storage conditions of food and FMCG products.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions to improve skills and maintain team motivation.
• Coordinate and optimise transportation routes, working closely with drivers and external transport providers.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics management within the food or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of managing logistics teams and transportation operations.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers and external transport services.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary – up to 70k + car allowance + bonus
