Role Details

Position: Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday, Term Time)
Duration: Full Academic Year (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Pay: £90 - £105 per day

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students reach their full potential
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Gaining valuable experience in behaviour management and SEN support strategies

What We're Looking For

  • A recent Psychology Graduate (or related degree)
  • A genuine interest in child development and inclusive education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
  • Previous experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable but not essential
