R S Skips Ltd is a well-established, family-run Skip Hire & Waste Management company based in Gravesend, Kent.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Tippe driver to join our team.

The successful applicant must hold a valid class 2 license, driver CPC, and possess a digital tachograph. Work will involve the delivery, exchanges, and collections of skips for both domestic and commercial customers to North West Kent and South East London areas.

Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 17:30

Alternate Saturdays 07:00 13:00

Salary: From £14.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operate Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Deliver materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
