National Sales Manager – UK & Ireland
Location: Home-Based
Reporting to: UK General Manager
Package: c.£75,000 Base + Benefits

I'm running a search for a franchised distributor, well-regarded across Aerospace, Defence, and Industrial markets. This is a business that operates with technical depth, strong supplier relationships, and a product portfolio worth selling.
What the role involves
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ field sales reps across the UK and Ireland, with real accountability for performance, coaching, and development.
- Own the territory strategy end-to-end: pipeline, margin, and long-term account equity.
- Drive growth across OEM and EMS customer bases with a premium franchise portfolio, Passives, Interconnect, Electromechanical, and Power.
- Be present in the field, with your team and in front of key customers and supplier partners.
- Step in as the senior voice on major accounts and strategic conversations.
Your background must be inside the electronic components industry. Not adjacent to it, inside it. Franchised distribution, OEM, or CEM/EMS. If that's not your world, this isn't your role.
If it is, here's what we're looking for specifically:
- Solid career history in electronic component distribution, franchised distributor, OEM, or CEM.
- Real product knowledge across Passives, Interconnect, Power, or Electromechanical.
- Proven track record in field sales and account development, with team leadership experience.
- Commercial mindset, you think in pipeline, margin, and long-term growth, not just this month's number.
- Comfortable with regular UK and Ireland travel, this is a field-based leadership position.
