We’re partnering with an innovative and growing organisation within the medical technology/manufacturing sector to appoint a General Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role with full operational responsibility across multiple sites.

The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring operational excellence across two production sites. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, drive performance, and implement strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing operations across two locations
- Drive operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead production planning to meet customer demand and delivery targets
- Manage stock control, supply chain, and inventory processes
- Ensure compliance with medical/quality standards (QMS)
- Take ownership of budgeting and financial decision-making
- Lead and develop teams across operations and customer service
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
- Support audits and maintain accreditations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong background in operations, production, and supply chain management
- Experience managing multi-site operations
- Demonstrated success in process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Inventory systems, accounting platforms)
- Engineering background preferred
Experience in medical devices or regulated industries is highly advantageous.
