Telecoms Maintainer / Fault Finder (Rail) – Contract Roles - 9 Contractors Required

East London | ⏱ 50 hours per week | £50/hour + Overtime | Ongoing Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Telecoms Engineer to support ongoing rail infrastructure works in East London. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering consistent hours and competitive rates, with overtime available.


Key Requirements

  • Valid IRSE Maintainer OR Fault Finder licence
  • PTS certification (any restrictions must be declared in advance) with DC lines competency
  • Full UK manual driving licence


Technical Experience (Minimum 3 required)

Candidates must have strong experience in at least three of the following systems:

  • Tunnel Telephone Systems
  • Networking (switches, routers, firewalls)
  • Telecoms cabling
  • SCADA systems
  • Legacy FTN systems
  • GSM-R
  • PAVA / PCDVA systems
  • VIDs / THIDs
  • Signalling control systems
  • Train describers
  • SSI interlocking
  • ARF / ARS
  • Telecoms UPS and DC rectifiers


Desirable

  • Background in telecommunications engineering within rail environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance capability
