2–6 PQE Derivatives Solicitor | London

We’re working with a leading law firm in London seeking a talented Derivatives Solicitor (2–6 PQE) to join their highly regarded team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions across a broad spectrum of derivatives, structured finance, and regulatory matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Areas of Work

Derivatives & Trading

• OTC derivatives
• ISDA documentation (negotiation and implementation)
• Cleared and uncleared trading arrangements
• Collateral and margin structures
• Portfolio transfers and unwind transactions

Structured Products & Finance

• Structured note programmes
• Equity and credit-linked products
• Derivatives within financing and securitisation structures

Regulatory

• EMIR, MiFID II and wider UK/EU regulatory regimes
• Benchmark Regulation and IBOR transition
• Ring-fencing and regulatory structuring

Digital Assets

• Crypto-related derivatives and trading structures
• Regulatory classification and perimeter issues
• Exchange and trading platform frameworks

Transactions

• Derivatives in financing, infrastructure and M&A contexts
• Hedging arrangements for lenders, sponsors, and corporates
• Close-out and default scenarios

About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2–6 years’ PQE
• Strong experience in derivatives and financial markets work
• Solid understanding of ISDA and related documentation
• Commercially minded with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Interest or experience in digital assets is advantageous
