The Sustainability Partner will play a central role in shaping and delivering sustainability strategy, working closely with senior leadership and teams across the organisation to embed sustainable practices into day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the senior leadership team to deliver sustainability objectives and drive organisational change
- Manage and maintain sustainability accreditations, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement against recognised standards
- Lead and coordinate sustainability projects across multiple business functions
- Define and track sustainability metrics, monitoring performance across areas such as energy use, waste management, and water consumption
- Assess environmental impacts and identify practical opportunities to reduce resource use and emissions
- Prepare sustainability reports for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and board-level audiences
- Act as a trusted sustainability advisor to teams across the business, supporting the integration of sustainability into ways of working
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners
- Stay informed on sustainability legislation, trends, and best practice, identifying commercially viable improvements
- Deliver presentations, workshops, and engagement sessions to support understanding and adoption of sustainability initiatives
About you
- Degree qualified in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related discipline
- Experience in a sustainability-focused role, ideally within food, hospitality, retail, or another consumer-facing environment
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, environmental principles, and reporting requirements
- Proven ability to manage projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical and data-led, with experience using insight to support decision-making
- Proactive, curious, and solutions-focused, with a commercial mindset
