Job description

About the Role:

As a Primary School Sports Coach, you will deliver high-quality PE lessons and physical activities to pupils across the school. You will promote healthy lifestyles, positive behaviour, and participation through engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate sports sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver fun, engaging PE and sports sessions for primary-aged pupils.

  • Support the development of fundamental movement skills and teamwork.

  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and participation.

  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of all abilities and age groups.

  • Support extracurricular clubs, sports events, and enrichment activities.

  • Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements:
  • Experience coaching or delivering sports activities with children.

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and confident approach.

  • Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities.

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
