Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Blackley Pay: £109.85 - £120 per day Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a specialist school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who require extra support to access learning and develop key life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties
  • Work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning and development
  • Assist with personal care where required
  • Use visual aids and structured routines to support understanding
  • Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
  • Encourage independence, social skills, and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Driver or access to a car (essential)
  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is desirable
Transferable Skills
