Job description
A niche construction consultancy in Newcastle is looking to bring in an Assistant Project Manager to support a growing workload across public sector and mixed-use developments. This hire comes off the back of several recent project wins, including local authority frameworks and regeneration schemes across the North East.
The construction Assistant Project Manager will join a close-knit team where you will gain hands-on exposure to live construction projects from day one rather than being siloed.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience as an Assistant Project Manager to be considered for this role.
The Assistant Project Manager's role The Assistant Project Manager will support across all stages of construction delivery, including attending site meetings, assisting with programme tracking, preparing reports, and supporting procurement processes. You will work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to client-facing responsibilities early.
The Assistant Project Manager
Degree in a construction-related discipline
1-2 years' experience in construction consultancy
Keen to work towards MRICS or APM
Strong organisational and communication skills
