Rate: £49,000 (equivalent to £24 per hour, Umbrella)

Duration: 10–12 months

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: On-site, just outside Coventry

We’re supporting a leading global automotive innovator in their search for a UI Designer (Production) to join their Experience Design function on a long-term contract.

This role sits at the intersection of UX and UI, focusing on translating creative concepts into high-quality, production-ready interface components for next-generation digital products. You’ll play a key role in delivering pixel-perfect UI aligned with brand and HMI standards across complex digital ecosystems.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Design UI components and layouts aligned with established brand and design system guidelines

- Deliver pixel-perfect, production-quality interfaces

- Collaborate across UX, UI, and engineering teams to translate creative direction into functional UI

- Maintain visual consistency across complex HMI specifications

- Act as a UI quality champion across cross-functional teams

- Support the evolution and continuous improvement of design system assets

What We’re Looking For

- Strong UI Design experience with a clean, component-driven portfolio

- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)

- Hands-on experience working with design systems (creation, maintenance, evolution)

- Ability to collaborate effectively with UX, creative, engineering, and product teams

- Detail-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles

- Degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, Digital Media, or a related field
