A well-established main contractor delivering social housing and remediation projects across the Midlands is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee a portfolio of live schemes.

This role offers a mix of new build, refurbishment, and façade remediation works, often within occupied environments, providing both technical challenge and long-term project stability.

The Role

• Oversee commercial activities across multiple concurrent projects
• Manage and support Quantity Surveyors and subcontractor packages
• Lead on cost control, valuations, and financial reporting
• Administer and manage JCT Design & Build contracts
• Handle variations, risk management, and cost recovery
• Work closely with site teams to ensure commercial performance on live projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS ready to step up
• Strong background in social housing or residential sectors
• Experience delivering refurbishment and/or occupied building projects
• Solid working knowledge of JCT contracts
• Comfortable managing multiple schemes simultaneously
