Permanent | £50,000 + OTE up to £60,000

We are seeking an energetic, hands-on leader to take full ownership of a high-end business centre. As Centre Experience & Commercial Manager, you will ensure tenants, guests, clients, and event attendees receive an outstanding experience while driving the centre’s operational and commercial performance.
The Role
Reporting to you will be the Centre Operations Manager and their team who will oversee all aspects of the building’s day-to-day operations, including:
- Facilities management, health & safety compliance, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring the building operates seamlessly for tenants, visitors, and event clients
You will lead the centre’s commercial and marketing initiatives:
- Drive occupancy across all areas, including offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and event areas
- Promote short-term memberships, meeting room usage, and day passes
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences that build loyalty and retention
- Represent the centre in the local business community at networking events, exhibitions, PR and promotional opportunities
Your focus will be on combining operational excellence with commercial growth, positioning the building as a vibrant, high-performing hub where businesses want to work, meet, and connect.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Performance: Maximise occupancy and revenue from memberships, meeting rooms, day passes, and events while managing costs effectively
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate your on-site team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence
- Tenant Experience: Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring smooth onboarding, ongoing engagement, and retention
- Promotion & Networking: Build relationships with tenants, prospects, and the wider community; represent the centre at events and exhibitions
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, facilities, H&S compliance, suppliers, and reporting; ensure the building is always running smoothly and presented at its best
- Continuous Improvement: Analyse performance metrics, client feedback, and team insights to identify opportunities to enhance service, processes, and revenue
Your experience
We are looking for a high-energy, commercially minded leader who thrives in a role balancing operational management, team leadership, and business development. You enjoy creating a welcoming, vibrant environment and are confident in promoting a premium workspace.
- Proven experience managing flexible workspaces, hospitality venues, or events operations, including responsibility for revenue, occupancy, and team performance
- Track record in P&L management, budget oversight, and business growth
- Experience leading direct reports and high-performing teams
- Strong networking and public relations skills, representing your space at events, exhibitions, and in the local business community
- Commercial acumen with a focus on day-pass, meeting room, and event revenue
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on, proactive, and solution-focused approach
