Sales Training Manager

Annapurna is looking for a Sales Training Manager

Job description

A well-established UK-based organisation operating across a multi-revenue commercial model within a B2B environment is seeking to appoint a Sales Trainer. The business delivers a wide range of products and services to a diverse audience and is undergoing a broader shift towards strengthening commercial performance through greater investment in people and capability.

This is a newly created role which will take ownership of designing and delivering practical, commercially focused learning that directly supports revenue performance. Working closely with sales and commercial leadership, this position will play a key role in embedding more consistent, effective approaches to selling across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role, involving delivery of workshops, coaching and working directly with commercial teams, not just programme design. The role operates close to the commercial front line, ensuring learning is relevant, applied and aligned to real business outcomes.

Key duties

  • Identify commercial capability and training needs across sales teams, account management and supporting systems
  • Design and develop practical, high-impact learning solutions aligned to commercial priorities
  • Deliver training through workshops, virtual sessions and one-to-one coaching
  • Work alongside commercial teams to embed learning in live selling and account management environments
  • Support onboarding to ensure new starters are equipped with core commercial and system capabilities
  • Partner with commercial leaders to improve consultative selling, account growth and overall performance
  • Support product and proposition launches through targeted, commercially focused learning interventions

The successful candidate will bring experience designing and delivering commercial or sales-focused learning within a B2B environment. They will be comfortable working closely with sales and account management teams, coaching individuals and managers, and translating commercial priorities into practical, high-impact learning interventions. This role is likely to suit someone with several years’ experience in sales training, enablement or commercial capability roles.

Strong facilitation skills are essential, along with the ability to engage a range of audiences across different levels of experience and seniority. Candidates should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting their approach to suit different learning styles and business needs. Experience supporting product or proposition rollouts, and familiarity with CRM-led sales environments, would be advantageous.

In return, the organisation offers the opportunity to shape a growing commercial capability agenda within a business that is actively investing in its people. The role provides direct exposure to senior stakeholders, a high degree of autonomy, and the chance to influence commercial performance in a visible and meaningful way. Flexible hybrid working is available, alongside a collaborative and evolving working environment.
