ITS Building People are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to support and grow our construction recruitment operations across the South. With over 50 years of success in the industry, ITS operate across both Trades & Labour (blue collar) and Construction Professionals (white collar) markets, supplying temporary and permanent staff to main contractors, residential developers, civil engineering contractors and specialist subcontractors.
This role will take responsibility for developing new client relationships, strengthening existing key accounts and driving sales performance across multiple offices. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, improving cross-division collaboration and identifying new opportunities across both temporary and permanent recruitment streams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional or construction sales specialist looking to take on a regional role with strong earning potential and genuine influence on business growth.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing a regional sales strategy across Southampton, Guildford and Horsham
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities with main contractors, developers, civil engineering companies and subcontractors
- Growing relationships with key accounts and framework clients
- Driving sales activity across both blue collar (Trades & Labour) and white collar (Construction Professionals) markets
- Supporting consultants with business development strategy, client meetings and negotiations
- Encouraging collaboration between divisions to maximise opportunities and share leads
- Monitoring pipeline performance and ensuring strong levels of activity across the region
- Attending client meetings, networking events and industry functions
- Identifying opportunities to increase margins and improve commercial performance
- Providing market insight to support strategic growth plans
The ideal candidate will have:
- • Proven track record in construction recruitment or B2B sales within the construction sector
- • Experience developing new business and managing key client relationships
- • Strong understanding of the construction market, including both freelance/temp and permanent recruitment
- • Ability to influence and support consultants to improve sales performance
- • Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- • Self-motivated and target-driven approach
- • Full UK driving licence
