PLEASE NOTE BEFORE READING ON: This is a Home Based role although there will be requirement to visit our Mineral Products Association Trade Association Members and London office when necessary.


When is a Sales job not a Sales job? Answer: when our role requires you to have a strong background in Sales or commercial advocacy within our sector, and you are used to engaging externally and actively promoting the use of precast concrete and masonry, BUT you will be doing so here to support the work of our Association Members, rather than making "Sales." It also means that you are supporting our sector as a whole, rather than just a single company.


The Role Overview


You will play a pivotal part in driving strategic outreach and engagement with key stakeholders, decision-makers and industry influencers on behalf of the precast concrete and masonry sectors.


You will:

- Lead proactive engagement with key stakeholders, decision-makers, specifiers, and industry influencers to drive awareness, specification, and uptake of precast concrete and masonry solutions.

- Build and maintain high-value relationships with member companies, clients, policymakers, and industry bodies to support sector priorities and expansion.

- Assist in the promotion of precast concrete and masonry, as sustainable construction materials of choice.

- Support and contribute to the development and delivery of marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the value and benefits of precast and masonry products


Those are just a few topics for a start! This role reports directly to our Director who covers this technical area, but will also provide some support to all our Association product groups on common technical issues.


What are we looking for in you?

- As above, a Technical Sales or commercial advocacy background within our sector and these product groups, rather than a concrete or masonry technician (we already have that expertise within the team.)

- Comfortable and experienced in engaging externally and actively promoting the use of precast concrete and masonry in the UK.

- Any understanding of standards and regulations governing Precast Concrete and Masonry products in the UK and beyond is a preferred plus.

- The confidence and credibility to be able to represent the precast & masonry sector at a senior level to industry and on national/international committees.

- An enthusiastic and motivated self-starter, who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision in a small but highly effective and agile team as well as work closely with our Member companies, central/devolved government departments and the regulatory agencies.
