Job Title: Bioinformatics Scientist (Genomics & AI)

Overview
We are working with a number of innovative organisations across the life sciences sector who are investing heavily in bioinformatics, genomics, and AI-driven research.
As a result, we are looking to engage experienced Bioinformatics Scientists to support ongoing and upcoming projects focused on genomic data analysis, computational biology, and machine learning applications in drug discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret large-scale genomic and biological datasets
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and workflows
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to biological data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, biologists, and software engineers
- Support research and development initiatives in areas such as genomics and drug discovery
- Document methodologies, results, and best practices
Required Experience
- Proven experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
- Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, R, or similar)
- Experience working with genomic or multi-omics data
- Understanding of statistical analysis and/or machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and pipelines
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI/ML applied to life sciences
- Exposure to drug discovery or clinical research environments
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
