Main Focus of the Role
Working in collaboration with the wider preconstruction team, you will be responsible for the pricing of various tenders through all stages to final bid submission. Tenders range in value from £1million – £60million.
About You
- Able to demonstrate an excellent track record performing a similar role, pricing either demolition or complex groundworks, basements and structures packages.
- Experience through the full life cycle of an estimate — submission, post-tender procedure, award and handover to the delivery team.
- Experience working from first principles.
- Ability to influence and develop winning strategies for tenders, identifying risk and opportunity, and engaging with all disciplines and functions in the preconstruction work-winning team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to provide commercially focused, pragmatic solutions.
- Structured, organised, and able to deliver performance and outcomes.
- Proficient in relevant estimating software.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study
- Experience estimating projects or relevant engineering experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
