Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and manage detailed MEP quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQs for the data centre project.
Monitor project costs, track variances, and provide monthly cost reports and forecasts.
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, commercial proposals, and subcontractor quotations.
Evaluate MEP subcontractor claims, variations, and change orders in line with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with project teams to forecast cash flows and manage project budgets.
Conduct risk and opportunity analysis for MEP packages, providing recommendations to mitigate cost impacts.
Support procurement strategies by analyzing cost data and subcontractor performance.
Liaise closely with the MEP design and delivery teams to ensure alignment between design intent, construction methods, and budget.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial operations.
Provide guidance to junior QS staff and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, ideally within data centre, high-tech, or complex building projects.
Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing.
Proven experience with commercial management software (e.g., CostX, Aconex, or similar).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC / NEC / JCT contracts and commercial processes.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high professional standards.
