Senior Business Development Manager – Freight

£55,000 – £70,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Commission

I’m currently working with a well-established international freight and logistics business that’s continuing to grow its UK presence. With decades of experience across Europe and a strong global network, the business offers scale, stability, and long-term opportunity.

They’re looking to bring in an experienced Business Development Manager to focus on new business across Air, Sea and Road Freight.

What you’ll be doing:

• Winning new business in line with agreed targets
• Prospecting through cold calling, warm leads, and existing contacts
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Identifying opportunities across new customers, routes, and services
• Keeping an eye on market activity and competitor movement
• Working closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery

What’s on offer:

• £55,000 – £70,000 base salary
• Commission scheme
• Company car or car allowance
• 28 days holiday + bank holidays

• Experience selling Air, Sea and Road Freight.
• Confident generating new business and opening doors
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• A proactive, self-starter mindset
• Someone who understands the importance of managing customers properly
