SEN Teaching Assistant - Denton

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Denton to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to reach their full potential by:

  • Delivering tailored support in line with individual learning plans
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Working closely with teachers and external professionals to monitor progress
  • Adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support to promote well-being and confidence
About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • Qualified in education, childcare, or a related field (advantageous)
  • A strong communicator with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about helping young learners succeed
