We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our clients operations on a temporary basis.
The job youll do
- The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of production equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and electric furnaces.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Work with PLC-controlled machinery.
- Ensure minimal downtime and respond to breakdowns.
- Follow health & safety procedures.
- Complete maintenance records.
About You
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
- Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
