Are you a patient, empathetic, and resilient person looking for a rewarding role in education? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school team.
In this role, you won't just be helping with lessons; you'll be the bridge to learning for children with additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH). You'll provide the 1-on-1 support and encouragement they need to thrive both socially and academically.
What you'll do:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
- Help manage classroom behaviour with a calm, positive approach.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to track and celebrate progress.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience with Special Educational Needs
- A "can-do" approach and a great sense of humour.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
