Desian Education are proud to be working in collaboration with a Warrington-based single form entry primary school that is at the heart of it’s local community as they require an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to join the EYFS team on a full-time temporary basis. This is an extremely exciting long-term opportunity that will more than likely be extended into next academic year.

Your new role

As a teaching assistant within this school you will be joining an experienced and supportive EYFS team. You will support the class teacher to delivering stimulating and engaging learning by breaking down barriers, building strong constructive relationships and associating learning material with pupil key interests. You will take a lead of fine motor skills and social and emotional development across the classroom by independent planning and delivering various learn through play sessions to promote teamwork, social interaction and the use of fine motor skills.

What you need to succeed

• Full “Right to Work” in the UK
• To be at least NVQ Level 2 Children’s Care, Learning and Development or equivalent qualified
• Good knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
• Have an Enhanced Children’s DBS certificate or willingness to obtain
• Relevant referenceable experience within EYFS (school or nursery based)
