Do you have experience in counselling and a passion for supporting others to develop their skills and confidence?
This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners studying counselling, helping them develop both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to progress into the sector. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive learning environment where students can grow and succeed.
This position is part time, teaching 9 hours per week and 33 weeks per year.
What you’ll do:
• Deliver engaging teaching across Level 4 Counselling programmes• Support learners to develop counselling knowledge, skills and professional practice• Facilitate group discussions and reflective learning• Assess student work and provide clear, constructive feedback• Track learner progress and support achievement• Create a safe and supportive learning environment• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support delivery and quality
What we’re looking for:
• A relevant qualification in counselling (Level 4 or above)• Experience working in a counselling or therapeutic setting, at level 2 and 3+• Confidence delivering to adult learners• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• A supportive, empathetic and professional approach• A teaching qualification
