Job description
Job Title: Contract Manager/Senior Paralegal
Basic Salary: Up to £55k - £60k DOE
Location: Leeds City Centre
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2-3 days p/week in office)
CapeClarke are working with a global professional services business, who mainly service clients within the Financial Services sector, as they look to grow their in-house legal team. Originally a London based business, they are now looking to expand their presence in the North and are hiring into their Leeds based office.
Although the business works with Financial Services clients, they are not required to be FS regulated themselves so the role is a typical general commercial contract manager/senior paralegal type position. You'd work closely with and support some experienced solicitors but ideally you'll be comfortable working fairly autonomously across various matters, such as:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of MSAs, Engagement T&Cs, NDAs & SOWs
- Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts, partnership arrangements, sub-contracts and other commercial contracts
- Supporting Bid/Tender teams on RFPs and proposals
- Wider general commercial matters such a data protection and other compliance issues
- Supporting the global teams across MENA & APAC regions
Ideally, you'll have 1-2 years minimum experience in commercial legal capacity but there is no upper limit on the amount of experience being considered.
If the above is of interest and you fit the requirements, I'd welcome your application either through LinkedIn or you can email an up to date CV to tom.bagley@capeclarke.com
