Job Title: Broker Support Representative
Location: Windsor, 5 days a week in new modern office ( Parking paid for by company)
Salary - £27K - £29K
My client is a profitable scaling lender based in heart of Windsor. After 7 years of trading they have a fantastic brand reputation for quick, streamlined and flexible lending for SME businesses across the UK looking to scale.
After a large investment round & the lending book scaling 2X in 2025, they are now focusing on growth the lending book it an exciting high energy environment to work in – Offering great learning & development opportunities and a fun but productive working environment
My client works with brokers to distribute the lending into the market. Its important we give Brokers a really good level of service so they are updated on current deals they have introduced to us and also if they feel looked after & are happy with the service then they are more likely to introduce us more deals moving forward.
This is a brilliant role to learn from the Broker team and if you are performing well then it can lead to a Broker BD role where you will be owning your own broker relationships and deal cycles.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential brokers
- Provide regular updates via phone and written communication to brokers who have deals in flight
- Identify and understand broker needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Support the Broker Management team in onboarding brokers with the highest level of professionalism by utilising branded email templates and the broker portal
- Gather feedback from brokers on the referral process, products, and any other relevant issues
- Channel feedback to the appropriate internal teams to drive product and service improvements
- Track, measure, and report on broker performance (including deals submitted and funded deals), engagement levels and referral quality.
- Ensure the customer service team are kept fully updated on the processes involved in handling broker cases.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data within the CRM, assist in sales forecasting, and produce regular reports on broker performance and conversion rates.
- Provide training to brokers about products, offerings, processes, and advantages via Zoom, Teams or face-to-face meetings on our criteria
- Drive the acquisition of new brokers by delivering onboarding plan that sets clear priorities and develops tailored engagement strategies
We are looking for:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a support function or account administration, preferably within a sales environment in the financial services sector or brokerage
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal and keen to build relationships with brokers
- Problem solving skill set, proactive in answering queries and being a good representation of the brand
- Self motivated to work independently and get stuck into a variety of tasks which enable deals to progress
