An established and values‑driven food manufacturer is seeking a Specifications Technologist to join their technical team.

This is an exciting period of growth for the business, with a number of new retailers being onboarded. You’ll join a collaborative environment where quality, compliance and food safety are central to everything they do.

The Role:

• Writing and maintaining product specifications across multiple customer and retailer portals
• Supporting NPD and procurement teams with interpretation of food legislation, customer policies and codes of practice
• Liaising with technical, quality, production and development teams to gather and validate specification data
• Reviewing and approving product artwork to ensure compliance with UK & EU labelling regulations and customer requirements
• Assisting with external and third‑party audits as required

About You:

• Previous experience in a specifications, technical or compliance role within the food manufacturing industry
• Confident working across multiple online retailer specification systems
• Strong knowledge of food labelling legislation and food safety standards
• Proven artwork approval experience (ingredients, allergens, nutrition, claims, etc.)
• Strong communicator, comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers
