Norton Blake is looking for a TPI Fixed Account Manager

Job description

TPI Account Manager (Fixed Portfolio Focus)

London | Hybrid (3 Days a week in the Office)

B2B Energy Supplier (I&C Market)

We are partnering with a growing independent B2B energy supplier operating within the Industrial & Commercial market. The business works closely with Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), providing transparent and flexible energy solutions to large UK organisations.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a TPI Account Manager to take ownership of a defined portfolio of fixed broker relationships, driving retention, wallet share, and long-term commercial value.

The Role

This is a relationship-led account management role, focused on managing and growing a fixed portfolio of TPI partners within the UK energy market.

You will act as the primary point of contact for your broker accounts, building deep partnerships, increasing share of wallet, and ensuring the business is positioned as a go-to supplier across all broker-led opportunities.

The role is less about cold acquisition and more about maximising performance, consistency, and revenue across established relationships, while still identifying organic growth opportunities within your network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of TPI / broker accounts within the I&C energy market
  • Build strong, long-term relationships to drive retention, loyalty, and repeat business
  • Increase share of wallet across existing brokers by identifying and converting new opportunities
  • Position the business as a preferred supplier within each broker’s panel
  • Act as the main point of contact for all commercial activity across your accounts
  • Manage and coordinate pricing requests, ensuring a consistent and competitive response
  • Work closely with internal Trading and Pricing teams to deliver tailored energy solutions
  • Provide brokers with market insight, product knowledge, and procurement guidance
  • Maintain accurate oversight of pipeline, conversion rates, and account performance metrics
  • Identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities within your portfolio
  • Support onboarding and development of new broker relationships into your account base

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven, commercially accountable environment, with a focus on delivering long-term value from existing partnerships.

Key Skills

  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement
  • Commercially driven with a focus on account growth and retention
  • Confident managing high-volume, partner-led deal flow
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and account planning discipline
  • Ability to influence and position within broker networks
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Experience

  • Experience in account management, partner management, or B2B sales
  • Proven ability to manage and grow existing client or partner portfolios
  • Experience working with TPIs, brokers, or intermediary-led sales models is highly advantageous
  • Exposure to the UK energy market or flexible procurement is desirable
  • Strong commercial performers from adjacent sectors with transferable experience are encouraged to apply
