General Manager
High-End Venue
London - The City
Salary up to £70,000 – DoE + Overtime + OTE
Predominately Monday to Friday (with flexibility for weekends)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Senior General Manager to lead a flagship hospitality operation within a prestigious, high-profile City venue.
This is a critical leadership role requiring a strong operator with a clear focus on sales growth, cost control, and consistently high service standards. You will have full accountability for both operational excellence and commercial performance across a multi-million-pound account.
You will oversee a, high-end catering and events operation, delivering outstanding experiences across corporate dining, formal banqueting, and events within a heritage setting.
With a high degree of autonomy, you will set the strategic direction of the site, drive financial performance, and lead from the front to ensure exceptional delivery at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies & performance management.
- Maintain and elevate premium service standards across all operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a senior management team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operator within high-end Caterers / Events Venues.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and cost control.
Demonstrable track record of improving sales performance and driving revenue growth.
Ability to implement and maintain exceptional service standards.
