UK | Field-Based | High-Growth QSR Brand

We are working with an ambitious, fast-scaling QSR business that’s rapidly building its presence across the UK as part of a wider European growth journey. With multiple openings planned over the coming year, they are now looking to appoint an L&D Manager to shape and deliver the training strategy for the UK brand.


This is a key hire for the business: they are looking for someone who can combine hands-on, in-store training with building the frameworks, playbooks, and systems needed to support long-term growth (including AI-enabled learning tools).


The Opportunity

As L&D Manager, you will partner closely with operations to roll out training across new and existing sites, ensuring every team is set up for success from day one.

You will be instrumental in designing scalable training programmes, embedding brand standards, and creating a consistent customer and operational experience as the estate expands.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field but also wants to influence strategy and build something from the ground up.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading training delivery for new site openings
  • Rolling out structured onboarding programmes for new hires
  • Supporting teams through launch periods and early trading
  • Embedding brand standards, processes, and ways of working
  • Delivering engaging, in-person training across multiple locations
  • Coaching and developing store leadership teams
  • Creating impactful training content for frontline employees
  • Designing and maintaining operational playbooks
  • Building scalable L&D frameworks to support rapid expansion
  • Exploring and implementing modern learning tools (including AI-driven solutions)
  • Supporting the evolution of franchise-ready training models


What They Are Looking For

  • Background in hospitality, QSR, or multi-site retail environments
  • Proven experience supporting new store openings
  • Strong operational understanding of food-led businesses
  • Experience delivering training and developing teams at scale
  • Confident facilitator in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable in a field-based role with regular travel

Salary & Benefits

  • £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
  • Travel expenses covered
  • Clear progression to Head of L&D / Head of Training
