Implementation Manager

Job description

An established capital markets fintech firm providing front and middle office solutions to buy-side and sell-side firms is hiring an Implementation Team Lead to join its client delivery team.

This role is suited to someone with a background in client implementations or onboarding, combined with some team leadership or mentoring experience.

The Role

• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirements through to go-live
• Act as the most senior member of the London-based implementation team
• Serve as a key point of escalation for junior team members
• Support onboarding, training, and mentorship of new joiners
• Act as a senior contact for clients during implementation projects
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Help improve implementation processes and drive best practice

Requirements

• Experience in implementation, onboarding, or client delivery within financial technology
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience working with FIX, XML, or JSON for client connectivity/integrations
• Understanding of electronic trading workflows and system integrations
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to manage multiple projects
• Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Experience with trading platforms, OMS/EMS, or workflow systems
• Broader exposure to capital markets (buy-side or sell-side)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
