Job description
I am recruiting for a bid manager for a global leader who manufacture products, mainly for the defence sector. They bid UK and international opportunities and are looking for their first dedicated bid professional to join their business at an exciting time or change and growth.
This role is based just outside of Middlesbrough and there is an expectation to be in the office for the majority of the first 3 months to get to know the team, the business and their products and services. After the first 3 months, there is flexibility to work hybrid. You must have experience bidding into the defence or similarly regulated environments.
You will be joining a company with ambitious growth plans, and as this is the first dedicated bid role, you will have the opportunity to make the bid function your own and really put your stamp on it. There is potential to develop into a head of and build a team in the future.
